Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), also called photobiomodulation, uses red or near-infrared light to stimulate hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the cells of the follicle, supporting their energy production and prolonging the active growth phase. It is delivered through devices such as laser caps, helmets and combs, or with in-clinic machines, and is painless and non-invasive.
