FUE hair transplant: gentle, scar-sparing, proven

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is the most widely used modern hair transplant technique. Individual follicular units are taken from the donor area and moved to thinning zones — with no scalpel incision and no linear scar.

With FUE, individual follicular units (groups of 1–4 hairs) are extracted from the donor area at the back of the head using a fine hollow needle (punch). This zone is usually resistant to hereditary hair loss, so transplanted hairs keep that property and can continue to grow long term.

The extracted grafts are sorted under magnification, kept in a holding solution and then placed into fine channels opened in the recipient area. The direction, angle and density of those channels determine how natural the result looks — this is where the experience of the team matters most.

Does the FUE method leave visible scars?

FUE needs no scalpel incision. The dot-like extraction points usually heal so discreetly that they are not noticeable at normal hair lengths. With a very closely shaved back of the head, fine light dots may remain visible.

Do I need to be fully shaved for an FUE transplant?
