Who is in the room on the day

A hair transplant is not a one-person job, but it is one doctor's responsibility. Your procedure is planned and led by the doctor you met at your consultation: they assess your donor area, agree the plan with you, design the hairline and carry out the surgical steps themselves.

Working alongside them are our senior technicians, who assist throughout the day — preparing and caring for grafts between extraction and placement. That is precision work, and it directly affects how many follicles survive. We run one patient at a time, so the same people stay with you from the first incision to the last graft.

Registration you can check yourself

Both of our doctors are registered and licensed with the General Medical Council, and we would rather you verified that than took our word for it. Dr Meena Zareie is GMC 7722917 and Dr Asfa Hussain is GMC 7727403 — either number can be looked up on the GMC public register in under a minute.

Dr Hussain also holds membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd), and both doctors completed specialist hair transplant training with leading surgeons on Harley Street, London. Certificates and registrations are available to see at your consultation.

What to ask any clinic about its team

  • Who will actually perform the extraction, the incisions and the placement — and can you meet them before the day?
  • Is that person a registered doctor, and what is their registration number?
  • How many patients does the clinic take on the day of your procedure?
  • Who will you see at your follow-up reviews, and for how long?
  • If you have a question at week three, who answers it?

These are reasonable questions to ask anywhere, including here. A clinic that is comfortable answering them is usually a clinic worth considering.

How the free consultation works

  • Talk through your concerns and what you want to achieve
  • Medical assessment of your hair and donor area
  • Clarify the right plan and technique for you
  • Receive a personal treatment plan with a fixed price
  • Honest advice — including when we advise against surgery
