Hair transplant in Stockport

Stockport and Bury sit at opposite ends of the M60. The clinic is at Hilton House, Irwell Street, Bury, BL9 0HZ — about eighteen miles north — and that is worth being honest about before you book anything.

Half of the orbital

The route is the M60 up the eastern side of the ring to Simister Island, then the M66 north into Bury. Roughly eighteen miles, typically about forty minutes off-peak.

That eastern stretch is one of the busier parts of the orbital in the rush, so a nine o'clock appointment means leaving Stockport well before eight.

The procedure day starts early by necessity, but review appointments are flexible — tell us at the consultation if the traffic is the problem.

Train and tram, which works better than it sounds

Stockport is not on the Metrolink. It is, though, about ten minutes by train from Manchester Piccadilly, and the Metrolink runs from Piccadilly towards Bury — which makes public transport a real option here rather than a technicality.

Bury Interchange is the northern end of that tram line, with the bus station attached, in the town centre.

Tram services vary through the day and you may need to change at Victoria; check live times before you set off.

The consultation and the fixed price

The first appointment is a free hair analysis with Dr Meena Zareie (GMC 7722917) or Dr Asfa Hussain (GMC 7727403, MRCSEd). They assess your donor area, agree a plan and write down a fixed price before you commit to anything.

Prices start from £3,500 for 1,000–1,600 grafts, £4,500 for 1,600–2,400 and £5,500 for 2,400–3,000+. You pay one price for the whole procedure, not per graft.

Eighteen miles, five or six times

Reviews run in person through to the twelve-month result and are included in the price. From Stockport that is roughly forty minutes each way, several times across a year, and it is better to know that now than in month three.

If you cannot see yourself making that trip more than once, say so at the consultation. A follow-up plan nobody keeps is worse than an honest conversation about distance.
