Hair transplant in Salford
The clinic is in Bury — Hilton House, Irwell Street, BL9 0HZ — about nine miles north of Salford. The two are joined by a single road, which makes this one of the shorter journeys anyone makes to us.
Bury New Road runs north
The A56 leaves Salford as Bury New Road and runs north through Prestwich and Whitefield towards Bury. About nine miles, typically around twenty-five minutes off-peak, with no motorway needed.
Salford covers a lot of ground, though. From Ordsall or Broughton the A56 is the obvious line; from Worsley, Walkden or Eccles the M60 round to the Whitefield exit and then the A56 north is usually quicker.
The A56 through Prestwich is slow in the peak — from the west of the city, plan the motorway leg instead.
Trains, trams and Victoria
Salford Central and Salford Crescent are minutes from Manchester Victoria, and the Metrolink platforms for Bury are inside Victoria station. One train, one tram, no walking between buildings.
The tram line Salford has of its own — the one through MediaCityUK and Eccles — does not run to Bury. Bury is the northern end of a different line, so wherever you start in Salford you change in the city centre.
The consultation and the price
The first appointment is a free hair analysis with Dr Meena Zareie (GMC 7722917) or Dr Asfa Hussain (GMC 7727403, MRCSEd). Both registration numbers can be checked on the GMC public register before you come.
Prices start from £3,500 for 1,000–1,600 grafts, £4,500 for 1,600–2,400 and £5,500 for 2,400–3,000+. These are guide figures — the binding fixed price follows the analysis, because the honest number depends on your donor area and the zones you want covered.
Why the aftercare is the point
Reviews are scheduled in person through to the twelve-month result and are included in the price. Nine miles up the A56 makes that easy to keep to, which is the whole reason for choosing a clinic you can drive to.
If something needs checking at week three you come in, rather than photographing your scalp and emailing it to another country. That is the real difference between here and a cheaper package abroad.
